Do you look forward to worship services all week? Are you filled with gladness when you enter into God’s house? In this Psalm we are told to shout for joy to the Lord when we come into His gates, we are to do so with thanksgiving and praise.
Shout for Joy
Worship the Lord with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs. Psalm 100:2 (NIV)
Do you look forward to worship services all week? Are you filled with gladness when you enter into God’s house? In this Psalm we are told to shout for joy to the Lord when we come into His gates, we are to do so with thanksgiving and praise.
We are to sing joyful songs. Psalm 98:1 even tells us to sing a new song to the Lord, not tired old songs. When I think of all the marvelous things that God has done in creation and all the great things He has done for me, I can easily shout for joy.
Heavenly Father:
I worship You, I adore you. I magnify Your name. You are worthy of all the praise and all the glory. Thank You for being in my life. Thank You for giving me joy. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
