"You reap what you sow." How often have you heard someone say that? Often times when someone uses that expression they are speaking of a situation where someone did an unkind or selfish act. Maybe the person was mean to someone or stole something from some one.
Reaping a Bountiful Harvest
Don't be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. Gal 6:7
"You reap what you sow." How often have you heard someone say that? Often times when someone uses that expression they are speaking of a situation where someone did an unkind or selfish act. Maybe the person was mean to someone or stole something from some one.
2 Corinthians 9:6 says, "Remember this: he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly. He who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully."
What have you sown? Have you sown righteousness? The Bible says, "Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: For it is time to seek the Lord, till He comes and rain righteousness upon you.
I don't know about you, but I am always in need of mercy.
I am going to check the seed level in my sowing basket of life to be sure that I am sowing righteousness bountifully. How about you? Praise the Lord!
Heavenly Father:
I praise You. I bless You. I magnify Your name. Thank You for Your mercy toward me. Thank you for the righteousness You rain upon me. Help me to always sow righteousness so that I can reap in mercy. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
