Our love for God should be so strong and so much a part of us that all we do will be to His glory. Whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. This means taking a second look at what we are eating and what we are drinking. Since our bodies are temples of God and the Holy Spirit resides there (1 Cor 6:19). We need to ask ourselves, "Is what I am eating or drinking going to glorify God?"
Glorifying God
1 Corinthians 10:31 So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
We need to ask ourselves, "If I go to the casino, will this glorify God?" A constant inner compass should be guiding us in our choices and actions, "Will this act glorify God? Will I be honoring God if I do this action?"
1 Peter 4:11 says, "If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever."
Prayer
Heavenly Father:
I praise Your holy name. Thank you for loving me and guiding me. Help me to stay focus on You and to glorify You in all that I do. This I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
